Membership Application

The Western Carolina Women's Coalition is an all volunteer, tax-exempt, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to advancing women and girls through education, advocacy and cooperation. Established in 1987 by a cadre of women in the region lead by the Junior League of Asheville/Buncombe County, the organization has a long and successful history of advocating for women, pressing for good public policy, and linking women and women’s organizations throughout the state. We are an all volunteer association, and while we no longer maintain an office in downtown Asheville, our board of directors is drawn from throughout the 25 westernmost counties.   If YOU would like to learn more about the organization, please visit our Web site or contact our current president, Eva Ritchey of Hendersonville.  If you think you might like to get involved in the work of the organization, please let us know that too!  We are always searching for new ideas and new leadership in committees and at the board level.  Our hallmark programs include a biennial women's conference, a women's equality celebration each August, and women's history programming each March.  Come!  Join the fun!
